How we grade our products

We are a small operation here at Stormbringer and we add products as fast as possible after a careful review. The minimum condition of used product (unless noted) includes normal and acceptable wear, and is fully playable and readable.

For collectors and others looking to take the guesswork out of buying and selling vintage games, we use a set of standard grades we apply to both our catalog and our buy-list.

Condition Grading Codes

All products should have a condition code along with a basic description of the over all condition of the product unless it is a sealed or new.  This rating should be shown on at the bottom of the product's detail page.

• N/S  New Sealed product
  
  
• LN Like New, this product is complete may or may not be sealed or opened. Contents are unused, unpunched or still sealed.
  
  
• CVG Collectable Very Good, this is a rare product which is complete and has aged very well. Bindings or corners are intact. Contents are mark free and no damage.
  
  
• VG Very Good, this product is complete no tears or rips. May have some light wear and very minor writing or highlighting on inside contents.
  
  
• CG Collectable Good, this rare product is complete and may have cover or box damage. Contents may have minor writing or water damage.
  
  
• G Good, this product is complete and may have wear on the covers or boxes corners,  Bindings are intact. pages could have coloring or writing but should not effect readability or play-ability.
  
  
• CA Collectable Acceptable, this rare product is complete unless noted, may have major ware on bindings, box and or contents.
  
  
• R/P/A Readable Playable Acceptable, our minimum standard. This product is complete unless noted, may have damage, writing, rips or tears. This a usable product with major wear.
